Do Not Let Your Man Go Grocery Shopping Alone

This post is for the ladies who live with their husbands, boyfriends or fiancees. Do yourself a favour and N E V E R let your man go grocery shopping alone, it will be a nightmare, I promise you!

This past weekend I was working crazy hours and I was quite sick. My boyfriend, Connor, and I were supposed to go grocery shopping but I clearly was not feeling up to it, so my amazing man offered to go do the groceries. "Wow, he is amazing." I thought "This is pretty sweet. I can rest and he will do our usual grocery shop. I won't need to worry about anything." Wrong. While I might not have been wrong about him being an amazing guy, I was not so impressed with his so-called 'grocery' shop.

Connor, being the great man that he is, even took it upon himself to put ALL of the groceries away, a job that commonly belongs to me, because I was passed out when he got home. When I woke up, I noticed this and I complimented him for so much effort. Of course, I then had to go and ruin it by inspecting the cupboards and fridge to see what he had picked us up for the week. Here are his three major purchases:

All in all I found :

>Two boxes of cookies, a can of chips a tub of gummy worms, two boxes of pop tarts, two boxes of donuts and reese's cereal in the cupboards.

>In the fridge/freezer I found 2 medium-sized cartons of chocolate milk, skor ice cream and two boxes of pizza pockets.

Needless to say, I still gave him an "A" for effort but I still had to go out and do another grocery shop today. Moral of the story is save yourself the grief (and the extra trip) and just go grocery shopping together, or better yet go alone!
